In
1944, the Allies were preparing for the major offensive that they had
planned in Normandy and which should definitively rid Europe of the Nazi
scourge. Every staff is in turmoil. General Eisenhower hesitated about
the date set, June 6, due to bad weather. The landing of airborne troops
and the landing on five beaches in the North Sea promises to be
difficult...

prévue en Normandie et qui devrait définitivement débarrasser l'Europe
du fléau nazi. Chaque état-major est en effervescence. Le général
