Sinopsis : 

 

In 2048, on an Earth overpopulated and driven by violent conflicts, scientists are looking to Saturn's moon Titan as a new home for humanity, spearheaded by Professor Martin Collingwood(Tom Wilkinson).

Rick Janssen(Sam Worthington), a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, volunteers to be a part of an experiment on 14 test subjects that forces human bodies to adapt to the super-cold methane liquids and the ultra-low oxygen atmosphere of Titan. He is joined by his wife Abigail(Taylor Schilling), a medical researcher, and their son Lucas(Noah Jupe), at the Titan I research area. The initial results are promising. Rick becomes able to swim at incredible speeds and stay underwater for 42 minutes...

 

The Titan was released for some countries by Netflix on March 30, 2018. It was released theatrically in the United Kingdom on April 13, 2018, by Signature Entertainment, and direct to video in Germany on May 8, 2018, by EuroVideo. 

 

Synopsis :

 

En 2048, sur une Terre surpeuplée et en proie à des conflits violents, les scientifiques envisagent Titan, la lune de Saturne, comme un nouveau foyer pour l'humanité, sous la direction du professeur Martin Collingwood (Tom Wilkinson).

Rick Janssen (Sam Worthington), un pilote de chasse de l'US Air Force, se porte volontaire pour participer à une expérience sur 14 sujets tests qui force les corps humains à s'adapter aux liquides de méthane ultra-froids et à l'atmosphère à très faible teneur en oxygène de Titan. Il est rejoint par sa femme Abigail (Taylor Schilling), chercheuse médicale, et leur fils Lucas (Noah Jupe), dans la zone de recherche Titan I. Les premiers résultats sont prometteurs. Rick devient capable de nager à des vitesses incroyables et de rester sous l'eau pendant 42 minutes...

 

Titan est sorti dans certains pays par Netflix le 30 mars 2018. Il est sorti en salle au Royaume-Uni le 13 avril 2018, par Signature Entertainment, et en vidéo directe en Allemagne le 8 mai 2018, par EuroVideo.
