Synopsis :

Jeff and Amy Taylor hit the road to San Diego, where a new life awaits them. In the middle of the desert, their car breaks down. A heavy goods vehicle stops. The driver Red offers to help them. While Amy, with the helpful trucker, goes to find a tow truck, Jeff works to repair the vehicle, which he manages to start. He decides to go join Amy but, at the truck stop, he finds no trace of his wife...

 

Jeff et Amy Taylor ont pris la route pour San Diego, où les attend une nouvelle vie. En plein désert, leur voiture tombe en panne. Un poids lourd s'arrête. Le chauffeur Red propose de leur venir en aide. Tandis qu'Amy se charge, avec le secourable camionneur, d'aller quérir une dépanneuse, Jeff s'emploie à réparer le véhicule, qu'il réussit à faire démarrer. Il décide d'aller rejoindre Amy mais, au relais routier, il ne trouve pas trace de son épouse...
