The Omega Man is the second adaptation of Matheson's novel. The first was The Last Man on Earth (1964), which starred Vincent Price. A third adaptation, I Am Legend, starring Will Smith, was released in 2007, and used the Original Title of the novel "I Am A Legnd"! A sequel must be produced for release in 2025 called "I Am a Legend II"

 

The Omega Man est la deuxième adaptation du roman de Matheson. Le premier était Le dernier homme sur Terre (1964), avec Vincent Price. Une troisième adaptation, I Am Legend, avec Will Smith, est sortie en 2007 et utilisait le titre original du roman « I Am A Legend » ! Une suite doit être produite pour une sortie en 2025 intitulée "I Am a Legend II".

 

Synopsis :

A bacteriological war has devastated the Earth. Colonel Neville was able to inject himself with a vaccine in time. He appears to be the only survivor in the entire city of Los Angeles. If he spends his days looking for other individuals who have been miraculously spared and gathering the materials and foodstuffs necessary for his survival, when night comes, he locks himself in a veritable fortress. Indeed, not all humans are dead, some have undergone a terrible mutation...

Une guerre bactériologique a dévasté la Terre. Le colonel Neville a pu s'injecter un vaccin à temps. Il semble être le seul survivant de toute la ville de Los Angeles. S'il passe ses journées à chercher d'autres individus miraculeusement épargnés et à réunir matériel et denrées nécessaires à sa survie, quand vient la nuit, il s'enferme dans une véritable forteresse. En effet, tous les humains ne sont pas morts, certains ont subi une terrible mutation...
